CO2 Generator Kit for Planted Aquariums

I ordered this DIY Co2 system from FZone to try and replace my Co2 cartridge systems for my small planted tanks. This entire system comes in a blank box with every piece well packed in their own individual boxes. It includes the cylinder, a measuring cup, funnel, powered solenoid with wall adapter, diffuser, a glass U piece, a length of hose, the regulator, bubble counter, and manual. The objective of this is to combine citric acid and sodium bicarbonate together in measured amounts, add in water, seal the canister and allow the pressurized Co2 to build and use it for your tank. For some reason they don't specifically state the materials to combine but only say they are "materials" in the manual. It's pretty easy to weigh out and mix the materials while combining them in the cylinder but it is a bit of a chore. However, the size of this tank will last me much longer than my tiny co2 cartridges ever will as I have to replace the cartridges every few days which is adding up to a much larger bill than I would like. Overall, this DIY co2 system is awesome and comes with everything you need to get up and running besides the citric acid and sodium bicarbonate that you need to add yourself. The Co2 should last me much longer and a bit cheaper with this method than my cartridge system that I'm running.

I'm very satisfied with the Fzone 2.5 L Aquarium CO2 Generator System and would recommend it to anyone looking to enhance their planted tank with CO2 injection.
