This electric surface skimmer effectively removes surface oil film and floating debris. It’s especially useful for large tanks with filtration dead zones or small tanks where sponge or mini filters can’t generate enough surface flow, helping maintain a clean, clear, and well-circulated aquarium.

Quiet and effective in such a small profile. I think it looks quite nice too! Adjusting the inflow height matters. There’s some tolerance for evaporation, but not a lot. I could see myself running this intermittently on a Wi-Fi outlet. In just a few minutes, it clears surface film on a nano tank very nicely.
I was so excited that FZONE released a mini surface skimmer, so I went ahead purchased 2 of them for my 2 betta shallow nano aquarium. I had some small issues getting the first skimmer to work. Initial setup, the first device creates a lot of bubbles and noise, plus the inflow surface guard keep getting pulled-down every time I powered on the device. After few hours, the bubbles and noise went away, I also got the inflow floating guard to work by adjusting the height, it took a while to get it working.
