Works perfectly and looks very sleek/nice. I was topping off my 10 gallon every day before and now it just does it for me which is super convenient! Magnet is very strong so the sensor is secure. even with the small amount of surface movement i have it doesnt throw off the calibration. Pro Tip: the first time you prime it if its a saltwater tank and already at the correct salinity just have the pump in saltwater when it primes and then after that move the pump into the rodi water. that way it knows the tank size and you dont have to worry about it lowering the salinity
The one downside of running a rimless tank is having to top off every few days between water changes because of evaporation! Well, Problem solved with this ATO! Used this for a week so far and love everything about it! Programs where to fill to and haven’t had my tank go low at all! What a great product that makes fish keeping only less hassle!
I was looking for an ATO for a tank without a sump, this one not only fits but it does not need to be vertical to measure the water, as you can see I have it set horizontally so that the cable does not interfere with the rim. It includes a one wave valve so it does not create a siphon but you can keep the hose out of the water and be safe. Not only that is is completely silent and includes plenty of hose to run from almost anywhere near the tank.
