I was honestly expecting issues based on some of the reviews—lots of people mentioned leaks—but that hasn’t been my experience at all. I’ve had this FZONE CO2 regulator running on my planted tank for a week now and the seal’s been completely solid. No hissing, no pressure loss, nothing. It’s holding a stable output and the fine control on the needle valve is better than I expected, especially for dialing in low bubble rates. One thing that caught me off guard is that it doesn’t come with any CO2-proof tubing. That feels like a bit of a miss. I already had some on hand from a previous setup, but if this is your first regulator, just know you’ll need to buy that separately. Not a dealbreaker, but something I wish was clearer upfront. All in all, if you’re careful with the setup and you use proper tubing, this regulator delivers. Solid build, no leaks, smooth output. I’d use it again on another tank without hesitation. Pros: – No leaks – Holds pressure well, even at low bubble rates – Solid build quality and smooth needle valve adjustment -Nice design Cons: – Doesn’t include CO2-proof tubing – Instructions could be clearer for beginners, including timing (be sure to turn off your co2 when the lights are off)

Using this regulator with a 5lb tank for my 30 gallon aquarium. So far, it seems excellent. I used a small amount of thread tape on the main connection, the rest was all sealed fine. The unit is incredibly simple to use, just plug n play, no assembly required. Some people have mentioned the solenoid gets stuck after the first on/off cycle. So far i have not had that issue, ive tested it multiple times today. The solenoid is quiet too. It clicks when going on/off, but there is no hum as I have heard some solenoids will do. I will say, the solenoid is not cool to the touch as advertised. It isnt dangerously hot afaik, but certainly not cool. The needle valve is easy to adjust and i had things dialed in within seconds. The unit looks and feels well built. I say its an excellent product for the price point. If I havent updated this post, then it’s still working!

I have been doing planted aquarium for almost 10 years and I have always been using Milwaukee co2 regulator. As you know the Milwaukee are not cheap and you do need to do some homework before fully understand how to inject CO2 and importantly how to adjust the regulator. My Milwaukee is getting old so I want to try something new. Since the technology has improved and drives the price lower I thought I might try one of this FZone product. "Plug and Play" is how I would describe this regulator. It's very simple, screw it tight to the tank and make sure the o-ring is sitting correctly. Turn on the tank valve and the preset regulator was ready to go. The regulator was preset to 55 lb I believe and that's pretty close to standard setting which was around 45-60 lb output before the solenoid. Plug the solenoid in and fine tune the needle valve. It's been almost 3 months now and so far so good. No leaks and solenoid is still working strong with a timer. I just bought another one yesterday for my 75 gallon tank and hope everything will work well in long terms.
